Motion Control Group (MCG) is a pioneer in the design and commercialization of brush and brushless servomotor technology. MCG supplies design and manufacturing solutions to many industries including, medical device, semiconductor fabrication, commercial equipment, industrial automation, and defense.

We create motion control solutions, tailored to support our customers’ engineering and production needs. Motors are supplied to Original Equipment Manufacturers, Distributors, and are private labeled to other motion control providers. MCG is recognized as a technology leader by providing highly valued solutions to help our customers meet their market challenges.

MCG has made significant investment in operations since 2000 to improve efficiencies and product quality. Our North American facility completed a renovation to make use of work centers and employ lean processes. With the expansion of our China operations, we possess the ability to develop products in North America, and manufacture orders in China. We employ technical Mandarin and English- speaking employees, which translates into superior communication and faster results. For North American customers with an Asian presence, we offer local delivery, and if desired, the entire transaction can be completed in local currency as well.

History of MCG

MCG has an extensive history in motion control dating back to its founding in 1961 as Tachtronic Instruments and later with the merger of Control Motion Inc. After many years of providing components to critical military and aerospace applications, MCG established itself as a leading OEM supplier to commercial and industrial applications. As a pioneer in the commercialization of brushless motor technology, MCG has gone on to develop industrial, instrument, high-speed, limited angle and linear brushless motors as well as drives.
