Motor Service and Replacements
We know how important it can be to keep your equipment and business running at full capacity. Original Equipment Manufacturers provide the most knowledgeable service while troubleshooting their own equipment and determining the root cause of the problem. We recommend you first contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer or distributor you purchased the product from to determine the problem and procure any replacements. If this is not possible MCG has authorized qualified Service Centers to quickly repair or remanufacture motors. If a motor is out of warranty, we recommend you contact one of the following service centers to get the motor repaired.
Potomac Electric after-market service division specializes in remanufacturing servo motors, linear motors, drive electronics, slip rings, CNC machine spindles, and other electromechanical components used in Motion Control. When products are received for service their technicians evaluate and test the unit according to OEM specification. Customers are notified about the status and price prior to service.
