Establishing MCG’s normal Warranty Period
MCG uses a special manufacturing code (MFG Code) to identify the serial number and manufacturing week. The manufacturing code is a combination of serial number and manufacturing week. The first 6 digits of the code identify the serial number. The second 4 digit code identifies the year and work week the product was manufactured [“0707” as shown = the 7th week of 2007]. This date establishes the start of MCG’s normal warranty period.
